Miss Music
Monday, August 29, 2005
When we got a new computer most of our songs were saved from the computer that died, but we haven't had time to transfer them to the new computer and I am beginning to miss our little collection of tunes. Plus there are so many songs I want but we are no longer set up to pick and choose like we used to. At the top of my list is "Blower's Daughter" by Damien Rice or in other words the (Can't take my eyes off of you song from the Movie Closer).
Anyways it is a big project according to Andrew.

We are One Year Old
Tuesday, August 23, 2005
Andrew and I had our first anniversary on the weekend.
We spent Friday-Sunday at the Ambassador Resort hotel in Kingston. Andrew was able to swing us an upgraded executive suite. Very nice room, brand new everything.
We had a lovely dinner by the water at Curry Original. Andrew found a vegetarian substitute for Butter Chicken which he was extremely excited about (Aloo peas).
We played a little bocce in the park, hung out in the hot tub/sauna and played in the arcade for bit.

Die Bell Die
How can a phone company add a service to your cell phone with out you asking them to?
I want to make a t-shirt with the bell logo and change the B to an H. And then change the slogan from "Making it Simple" to "Making life Difficult".

Kids who bump thier Heads
Tuesday, August 16, 2005
It's always a little funny when kids hit their heads on furniture and stuff, parents are always laughing...you little bugger...of course it hurts when you walk into a door. But now that I really think about it...I bash my head off things all the time...so maybe kids are more adult then we give them credit for.

An Office is Move is Not Fun
An Office is Move is Not Fun...especially when most of your staff is on Holiday, you end up having to do a lot of the little things, you are pretty sure your internet will not be moved (hey no e-mail for at least a week... yes), and you have already missed two meetings with people contracted to do work with the move because you have been late for work.
Well at least I will get to ride my bike into work now.

su/do/ku

Apparently these little puzzles are all the rage nowadays. I found my dad playing them at the cottage a few weekends ago, but never tried it then.
Sudokus are logic/number puzzles. The aim of the puzzle is to enter a numeral from 1 through 9 in each cell of a 9x9 grid, starting with various numerals given. Each row, column and region must contain only one instance of each numeral.

So yesterday I picked up the paper and tried one out. I enjoyed it, but I like logic puzzles. Then I brought a "hard level" one home. Probably not a great idea to try hard level on your third try. I struggled with it for most of the evening. Only finishing it in bed after giving up in the early part of the evening.
Hey looks like I have found something to add to my hobby list.
Update on golf swing: went to the range and sucked it up. I re-read a chapter and think I see where I'm messing up. Will have to wait to the next visit to the range.
