9. The names that just roll beautifully off the tongue: From Kaka to Yaya
8. Craig, Larry, Vic and Dick and the HDTV Gods
7. That a Canadian was part of the officiating crew
6. That the right team won. Italy was in the toughest group to begin with they won it letting in only one goal. Their two play-off games were pretty easy but the Germany semi made up for that. I also would easily have 4 of their players in my starting XI. (Buffon, Cannavaro, Pirlo and Zambrotta)
5. The trading of shirts at the end of the game. (tee hee...girlish giggle)
4. Ghana, Ghana, Ghana!!!
3. The subtleness of brilliant players. Pirlo (Italy), Bastian Schweinsteiger (Germany) are examples of tremendously gifted players who were overshadowed by their more famous teammates.
