Electronic Woes Continue

Well my husband and I have a tendency to buy electronic products that always seem to break or need repair. The people at future shop must love us because we are now forced to buy extended warranties with everything we buy, as a result of our string of bad luck. We sometimes go to future shop looking for an extended warranty instead of an actual product. : )

So here is what has broken:
Andrew TV (he had an extended warranty-it fixed for free)
LCD Projector (bought extended warranty-currently in the shop-our fault-we dropped it off a counter))
Marantz stereo Receiver (Known problem with SR-2400 model we originally bought_replaced for Sr5600)
Tannoy Speakers (problem was with receiver...but 1 year of popping still counts)
Motorized Shades (Shade is too heavy for motor-to be replaced in januray)
Amana refridgerator (required 3 service visits-over frosted, broken rail)
Ayana-IBM Laptop (no extended warranty purchased-screen goes blank...makes a nice paperweight)

And now our latest problem is with our harmony remote. It wants us to replace batteries after a week with fresh ones. Using the TV remote is a problem as the "4" and the off button don't work.

Our VCR, DVD player (ext. wty in place), playstation and apple I-book (Icare in place) seem to be working fine and deserve a prize for not breaking down on us....yet.

Person of the Week: Fasil at skylink. I guess technically his service was terrible but we got a complicated booking done to Africa because of his help.

Things that get on me nerves: Just to reiterate - drivers who don't check the curb

Don't forget....

1) Answering machines that wouldn't work in our home

2) Telephone... that's right - we have even had to return a $40 telephone

3) digital camera that wouldn't download in our computer (but ironically would download in that paper-weight)

4) Any computer I have ever purchased by my mom or sister

And oh yeah... the projector wasn't dropped - it just suddenly stopped functionning properly... I wonder when they will call.
