People Watching

Is there any better past-time than people watching?
On the way into work I was watching people in their cars and then drawing an opinion of them. There was the soccer mom in the mini-van, the businessman,the struggling real-estate agent, the pompous ass in the Porsche, the trophy wife in the BMW z3 roadster.
On the way home from work I stopped at the neighbourhood family BBQ and just watched the families for a little while. It was nice to see the parents with their kids playing about. There was the random kid who was slowly but surely wondering out of the play area, the helpless newborns - little arms trapped in there osh gosh jumpers and the other younglings splashing about in the sprinkler area. Children are fascinating creatures - fun to watch.
